Crafting wish list

Hello welcome thought I'd reintroduce my blog as it's been abandoned since it began

As I'm currently on maternity my plan is to spend time raising Fergus and also to make more things for myself as well as others.

Unsure if I will relaunch my craft selling as feel the markets swamped at moment and I previous made jewellery but have lost interest in it and have thought about venturing into Homewares items but again unsure if I've the time to tackle it.

Seen a few blogs recently downing crafters who craft and sell as a hobby, this is always what I've done as for a while it was a self funding hobby. Just because you don't do it full time or risk your house on your craft doesn't make you any less creative or passionate.

My want to try new crafting areas also doesn't make me a luke warm crafter just one that looks for new challenges and skills. If we all stood still and stuck to the same craft nothing new would happen.

So here's my wish list/crafting dream list that I hope to tackle during the rest of 2014:

Sewing - a new skill my sewing machine have a love hate relationship
*make a box pleat skirt
*make dresses I will wear
*make a clasp closing bag
*make a coat for me - one day a lion coat for Fergus

Crochet - a skill I'm good and can even teach people
*finish my wave crochet blanket
*crochet and item of clothing for Fergus
*crochet items as presents

Knitting - I can knit but get bored easily of it
*finish cardigan I started the days before Fergus was born
*knit owl jumper
*learn to knit on double pins

Paper craft -
*destash and use paper I have before buying more
*make a collection of cards for all occasions - so stop buying shop bought
* make and POST our christmas cards this year

These are all what's I wish to do and hopefully I'll succeed in them, but I will record the bumpy journey here and all support and advice is welcome, never know maybe Carrotcoriander will one day return as a craft seller :)

Crocheting to the max

The above are yours to be found in a kinda of finders keepers game, there is Jasper the traffic cone, Trevor the traffic cone and Pip the traffic cone. Then theres Charlie the cat. If you find them lets me know would be good to hear from them in there new home :)

<----- Is the yarn that will be crocheted into sushi :) wish me luck. Aiming to apply for made in the shade with them but havent finished a set of them yet. Do have lovely little sushi trays for them and chop sticks so keeps your eyes peeled on the blog and hopefull ill post pictures asap.

Anyone know if theres a market for chopstick cases?

However i do have items i wish to swap that are:

*A bag of charms - 11 plastic dog houses, 5 plastic work men, 3 resin shapes tea pot, bird, nautical and 32 metal fruit charms of melons, grapes, strawberrys and cherrys.

* A large sheet of white vinyl leatherette material bought

* 4 small squares of vinyl fabric in, navy, yellow, tan and dark green

* a large peice of fabric with cartoon bears, horses, snails etc on it ( have forgot to take picture of this one)

* and a bag of safety pins in a mix of sizes

In return i am looking for buttons in all shapes sizes colours, and tea cups with. I am however open to other suggestions and swaps so give me an email or twit.
